Hot on the heels of the popular 3D animation, The 3D Machine, come five brand new episodes of The 3D Machine: The Series for Nintendo 3DS owners to enjoy. The episodes, available on Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS from 6 ^th December, are all based on the original stereoscopic 3D animated adventure, in which the professor and Igor accidentally bring a whole host of monsters to life with their 3D machine.
The new episodes catch up with our dynamic duo as they travel around the world in an attempt to hunt down the escaped monsters and zap them back to their comic book origins. You will see them travel across land and sea to capture these critters visiting a range of diverse locations, with each episode set in another far-flung corner of the world:
·         Episode 1: Attack of the Giant Lizard – In this episode a giant lizard causes chaos in a Japanese metropolis and it’s up to Igor and the professor to stop it in its tracks
·         Episode 2: Brain-Eating Aliens from Outer Space – The professor travels to the outer limits of space to try to save his trusty assistant from brain-eating aliens!
·         Episode 3: Web of Horror – The team travel deep into the jungle to thwart a terrifying tarantula
·         Episode 4: Mummy Mayhem – Take care near the Nile as a mummy runs amok in one of the ancient pyramids
·         Episode 5: Tentacles of Terror – Igor and the professor sink deep to the bottom of the ocean to terrorise the eight-tentacled sea monster that lurks beneath
Each episode has been carefully created by Ka-Ching Cartoons , a state-of-the-art animation studio in Rotterdam that specialises in short films, commercials, and television shows. Check out a trailer for their 3D Machine: The Series videos on Nintendo Video on Nintendo 3DS from 5 ^th December.

Great news! the Game we have been working on the animations for, has released a beta version.you can download it for free on your android device! after the beta period there will be a world wide release and a apple version too.

Some time ago we have made this video for EFI, as an explanation for their new software tool named TOSIA.
In this video Matti and Tiina both have their ideas about forest maintenance, they discover the software tool Tosia and come to an agreement.

Fiep's cats art expo

Right now there's a very cool art expo @ the Kattenkabinet in Amsterdam. It's called 'de katten van Fiep' or 'Fiep's cats', and is a collection of Fiep Westendorp best cat illustrations. Right now we have the pleasure of working on the Pim and Pom feature film, which is based on Fiep Westendorp most famous two cats. Go see it! Don't miss it!

Great News!

Ka-Ching Cartoons film 'the 3D-Machine' is the first video download on Nintendo 3DS.

Some time ago Nintendo aquired our film 'the 3D-Machine' for the 3DS .

They have made it able to watch our film in glorious 3D without glasses. And it looks great!

The film was available to watch for free for a few weeks, and now you are able to download and watch the film as many times as you like! For only 1 euro you can download it straight to your 3ds system, and keep it there!

Our film is the first downloadable video ever that hits the Nintendo E-shop so thats a premiere!

If you liked our film and want to watch it again, or if you never seen it but can't wait, go buy it for just 1 euro on your Nintendo 3DS!

Farmer Jack Trailer

in last post we told you Arjans great film is now finished and playing, at the Haff, the firts festival it screened it won the Audience Award! hoorah concrats to Arjan!

Since our internships in at Animation Works, we have been helping Arjan Wilschut with his new film ' Farmer Jack/Boer Jansen '. We have worked on some effect shots and all the exterior bg's.The film is finally finished and you can watch it today and saturday at the Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF)

Pim and Pom

Ka-Ching is currently storyboarding on Pim and Pim, a great new animated feature film aimed at young children. The movie is based on the illustrations by one of Holland's most famous illustrators Fiep Westendorp. The movie is being produced and directed by Gioia Smid from Fiep Amsterdam, and the animation is directed by Marieke van Middelkoop.

We are very grateful to work on such a fun project with such nice people.

Grobbebollen on DVD

Today we have received the first copies of the "Grobbebollen maken lol"-dvd's!
And they are awesome, the complete season which contains 26 episodes are on this double disc set.
At this moment the dvd is only for sale in the Efteling, but will be available soon online.
We have produced and directed this series for the Efteling and Avro, with the help of Mick Harrison and Jester Coyote Animation

InPreventie, a speedy job!

Here is a short film we have made for the website Inpreventie.nl .
It's a website where you can check and compare if your company is following the right rules and regulations for your employees.
This was a speedy job, we've had only one week to storyboard, design and animate this film!
We have had the pleasure to have Peer Mascini as the voice over of this film.

Video for RLI goes international

Recently we have made a video and some illustrations for RLI (Raden voor leefomgeving en Infrastructuur). The video summarizes a very complex rapport, that the RLI has presented to the Dutch government. The RLI is an council that gives advise to our government, in this case about water security and managment.
They liked the video so much that it will be translated so they can show it international on congresses.

'The 3D-Machine'now available on Nintendo 3DS!

Nintendo acquired our short film 'The 3D-Machine' for the Nintendo 3DS.
Our short is available in amazing glasses-free 3D viewing! For everyone who ownes a 3DS in North and South America. Just go with your device to the 3DS videochannel to watch our film, Have Fun!

The 3D Machine is one of the longest videos they've put onto Nintendo Video so far, and it has a great 3D effect throughout the whole mini-film. I'd say it's definitely one of the best videos I've seen on the App

This is the longest, 3D animated short yet on Nintendo Video, clocking in at over 7 minutes. It’s pretty good actually and the 3D effect is really well done. Definitely worth checking out.

3D machine was amazing. Great 3D and story. Definitely my favorite one so far!

New businesscards!

Jippie-a-jee! we have got some fantastic new animated businesscards, we have been handing them out now for a little while and everybody likes them very much.

Zendium

Recently we have made this commercial for Zendium Toothpaste, for Unilever.
We did all the animation, the motion tracking, and the compositing.
The drawings of the mouths were designed by Martijn Rijven.
the live action was shot by CZAR , and graded by Framelab.
The commercial agency was Being There, and this job was brought to us by our agents at Shop Around. Working with so many parties wasn't always easy, but the result came out very nice!

Protesting @ Mars der Beschaving

This weekend we have been protesting against the cuts that our government announced on funding of Arts and Culture, a serious matter! Many institutes, galleries and artists will not survive this ruthless cut. Together with a few thousand others we did a long nightly March, and we protested on the Malieveld in The Hague. Next morning I was on the news.
