Cockroach designs (4)

Here are some more designs for our short film; an opera about cockroaches. With these designs we are trying to look for a style that fits with opera. We do not want the film to take place on a stage, but we do want that feel.
The story is progressing nicely too. We are co-writing with Matthew Curlewis. He's great. We are getting pretty excited about it all.

First Annecy photos

Yes, once again Annecy was awesome!!! We've met a lot of our old Cartoon Salooner friends. It was great seeing Tomm, Ross, Jordan, Abel, Mike, Patrick, Daan and Caitriona again. The festival itself was okay, not the best films... but what they hey, there was sun, paddle boats, crepes, tartiflets, a bit of sun, Richard Williams, lots a cool people, drinking, kissing, doing business and dancing. Pretty, pretty, pretty cool!
There's more photos to come!

We worked with the designs from Richard Simonse from Shop Around
it was an old style comic book-commercial and very much fun to do.
we'll be working on at least 4 more of these!
this one will be on tv untill the end of may.
Here are some stills:
